This Wednesday, March 27th is your chance to find out more about the very popular Law Programs at the University of Leicester. The University offers both a 3 year program (for students who do not already have a university undergrad degree) as well as a 2 year Accelerated Program for those who do. At least a third of the student body in law is Canadian, which is a testament to the quality of the program as well as the transferability of legal skills upon returning to Canada to work. In addition, programs at the University of Leicester are eligible for funding assistance from student loan programs such as OSAP.
This information session is being held at McMaster Innovation Park in Hamilton, Ontario and runs from 6 to 8 pm. You will have the opportunity to speak to representatives from the University including Leicester Law Professors to find out more about their programs, courses and student life. An additional benefit of attending the law program at Leicester is the Canadian Law Society which provides support to students from the time they start classes through to their return home when they begin searching for employment. The Society also provides a series of networking events for Law Alumni back in Canada so they can keep in touch with classmates and find out about new opportunities.
