Do you love living and studying in the UK as an International Student from Canada or someplace else? There are exciting new plans in the works according to information just released by University of Hull and a number of UK media, for an initiative which would allow you to stay and work in the UK for two years after graduation.
The UK Government has announced plans for the new immigration route for international students as part of a plan designed to bolster the UK as a destination of choice for international students. Under the current plan, graduates are only allowed to remain for four months.
The new route will be available to students who begin a degree course from undergraduate level or above from 2020-21. This new option will be open to students of all subjects who have successfully completed a degree from UK universities or higher education (HE) providers that have a proven track record in upholding immigration checks and other rules on studying in the UK.
Graduates will be allowed to work, or look for work, at any skill level, and there will be no cap on the number of students who can apply for the new graduate route.
