The University of Leicester Law School is an extremely popular choice with Canadian students. In fact, a third of the student body in the Law Program at Leicester is comprised of Canadians. One reason the University is so popular is due to its Canadian Law Society which provides support to students from the beginning of classes right through to the job search upon returning back home. Watch the video below to hear from one Leicester Law grad who is now working in Ontario.
Leicester Law offers two excellent options for students including a 3 year program(LLB) which is accessible directly from high school and a 2 year Accelerated Degree (JD Pathway) for students who already have an undergraduate degree. Even though it costs more to study overseas per year, the fact that Law in Canada is a postgraduate program makes entering a program in the UK very cost effective. In addition, students receive the benefit of an International Education which is a qualification which many employers are seeking. One added perk; the opportunity to travel Europe cheaply by train or quick commuter flights in your free time and enjoy the sights!
