Should you take that extra year to study overseas and get that International MBA or other postgraduate business degree? New research from IESEG School of Management in France certainly seems to suggest that’s a risk worth taking. Data just released from a survey of recent graduates from the last few years shows that starting salaries generally seem to be in the range of $50,000 dollars a year or more.
The survey turned up the following statistics for starting salaries per postgraduate program as listed below:
Big Data Analytics: $70,000
Business Analytics and Consulting: $62,000
Digital Marketing: $50,000
Finance (MSc): $59,000
International Accounting, Audit & Control: $55,000
International Business: $52,300
Investment Banking & Capital: $62,000
Most Master’s programs overseas take just one year to complete, which means that graduates are generally able to put their skills to work a year earlier than if they attend similar programs in North America.
IESEG School of Management is one of the top-rated business schools in France. In fact, it boasts a Triple Crown Rating which is a prestigious accreditation given to less than 1% of business schools in the world.
