The impact of design is everywhere you look. Good design can actually help transform the environment around us and affects everything from individual businesses to the economy. This 1 year MSc program at the University of Dundee course will help you understand the power of design and how you can shape it.
This postgraduate program uses an interdisciplinary approach, which teaches students to approach design strategically to achieve an enhanced knowledge and understanding of design management, service design, enterprise and entrepreneurship.
Students will gain a strong foundation of understanding about products and services, processes, new ways of working, managing innovation and stakeholders. The skills of design thinking and design research methods will help students understand and empathize with design users in order to make better informed business decisions, in marketing, organisational change and enhanced customer engagement.
This program takes place in beautiful Dundee, which is known for its vibrant student life. Dundee is a UNESCO City of Design which is rich in design heritage. The city is also home to the V&A Dundee, the only design museum in Scotland and the first V&A outside of London. Another huge benefit of the program is interactive workshops and briefs which take place with V&A Dundee.
