This challenging program will develop your skills, knowledge and understanding in a variety of engineering topics. These include geotechnical engineering and sustainability, in addition to key topics such as health and safety and environmental management.
Throughout the program, students are guided by expert staff who will also oversee the research project which is linked to current industry needs.
Some recent topics which were part of this project have examined the sustainability and durability of concrete, the hydrodynamics of wave energy structures as well as the computational analysis of fluid flows and data driven analysis of beach stability.
The University of Dundee is also known for its excellent laboratory facilities which enable students to learn with state of the art technology. Facilities include the Scottish Marine and Renewables Test Centre for Concrete and Geotechnics, as well as a 3m radius geotechnical centrifuge, which notably ,is one of only three in Europe capable of earthquake replication.
