Barclay Educational Services was pleased to once again host the Faculty from Leicester Law School for an Information Night here at McMaster Innovation Park. Thanks to everyone who came out to see the presentation. If you are interested in applying for a Sept 2020 start, but were unable to attend last night’s event (Nov 13th) you should know that applications are still being accepted.
Places are still available in both the 3 year LLB Undergraduate program for students who wish to enter directly from high school, as well as the 2 year Accelerated Program (JD Pathway) for those who have already earned an undergraduate degree. In terms of qualifications, generally an overall average of 80 percent is required in your high school courses in order to apply to the 3 year program, and an average of 70-75 is required for those applying to the Accelerated Law Program. Individual consideration is also dependent upon academic reference letters as well as the personal statement which is submitted by the student.
Leicester Law School is one of the most popular destinations for Canadian Law Students. In fact a third of their student body is comprised of Canadians. They also have a Canadian Law Society which provides support from the beginning of classes through to the return home upon graduation and the start of the job search, with the help of numerous Alumni networking events. Are you interested in finding out more about how to become a student at Leicester? If you are applying from Canada, please contact Barclay Educational Services. Barclay is a recognized Canadian agent of the University of Leicester. As such there is NO CHARGE to students for our application assistance. The University pays our fee.
