It can be disappointing when you are unable to get into your very first choice of programs here in Canada for undergraduate or postgraduate studies. But it doesn’t mean you have to change your plans of achieving a degree in your area of interest. There is STILL TIME to apply to study overseas for a September 2019 start. Many excellent program choices are still available at our partner schools in the UK, France and Germany. However, the deadline is fast approaching so it is necessary to get your paperwork started quickly.
Overseas study offers many program opportunities which are not available in Canada. For example, programs such as Law, Pharmacy and Chiropractic are open to students directly from high school. This saves not only time but years of tuition since students are back home and working more quickly. All qualifications are readily transferred to working in Canada.
Another benefit is the possibility of pursuing a Master’s degree even if you only have a 3 year undergraduate degree. While a 4 year undergraduate degree is normally required in order to pursue an MA in Canada, IUBH in Germany offers a program which allows you to make up the additional year and then continue to the more advanced postgraduate degree. An added bonus is the opportunity to study at their beautiful campuses in world class cities such as Berlin. (All courses are in English.) Barclay Educational also partners with a top rated business school in France called the IESEG School of Management. This University has a coveted triple crown rating for its MBA program which is a designation given to only 1% of business schools in the world. You can study something like Fashion Management right in the heart of Paris! Again all programs are in English. Also worth noting, most Masters programs at our overseas partner schools can be completed in JUST ONE YEAR.
Other areas of unique postgrad study offer opportunities such as a 2 Year Accelerated Law Program for students who already have an undergraduate degree from University. No LSAT is required and applications are considered from students who have a wide range of undergraduate degrees. Many of our valued partner schools have a large number of Canadian students and offer support from the start of classes through to returning back home to begin the job search. Watch the video below to see one Alumnus who is now back home working as a lawyer in Toronto.
If you would like to find out more about any of these opportunities, please get in touch with Barclay Educational immediately at JSB@barclayedu.com Barclay provides complete application support right from course selection through the Student Visa process. As a recognized Canadian agent of these universities there is NO CHARGE for our assistance to students. The Universities pay our fee.
