In Awe of Austen? Explore the MA Global Literary Industries at University of Southampton
If you’re passionate about great writers, the University of Southampton’s MA in Global Literary Industries Management offers students the chance to cultivate critical skills in a dynamic cultural setting.

The program will prepare students for careers in the literary and cultural industries, including journalism, publishing, creative writing, editing, archiving, reviewing, broadcasting, arts writing and heritage management.

Students will learn both practical and critical approaches to working in these industries. All of this takes place in a dynamic teaching environment with courses taught by academics with professional experience in everything from publishing and journalism to heritage, and arts management. Areas of study include new and developing sectors of the industry such as new media, online and interactive publishing, gaming and narrative, and literary tourism.
Program modules include creative writing, script-writing, narrative non-fiction, literature and heritage, literature and economics, transnational studies, Shakespeare and his world, literature and law, and contemporary global fiction.
