This Masters program in Chiropractic includes a foundation year and is open to Canadian students directly from high school. This means that unlike here in Canada, no undergraduate work is required before you can apply to enter this program saving both time and tuition. Qualifications are transferable to working back in Canada.
Students will gain sound knowledge in understanding the human body in health and disease. They will also be able to identify abnormalities of human structure and function, and manage patients through manual methods including soft tissue techniques and active rehabilitation.
Another major focus of this program is on the ability to gain Clinical Experience. From the start of the program, students are exposed to various elements of clinical work which are introduced to reinforce academic studies and lectures. The final year of the program consists of a clinical placement, where students are able to treat and manage patients with musculoskeletal disorders to build confidence and enhance employability prospects.
