Would you like to study Law but didn’t get into the program of your choice here in Canada? Or are you finishing high school and want to go directly into Law School to start building your future career? Our partner schools in the UK still have some openings for students who would like to start pursuing their legal studies in Sept of 2019. There are many advantages to attending law school in the UK, including choosing from several excellent programs which provide you with qualifications which are easily transferable to working back here at home. Barclay Educational places a number of students each year in law programs at our top-rated partner schools. Many of these graduates are now working back in Ontario.
The 3 year LLB is an option for students who are in high school who wish to pursue law studies overseas. Most programs will help you gain skills in core areas such as criminal law, but in later years you also usually have the opportunity to branch into other areas of interest such as human rights law. No tests such as LSAT or LNAT are required for entry.
Also available is the 2 year Accelerated JD Pathway. This program is especially popular with Canadian students; in fact in some UK Law schools, Canadians represent as much as a third of the entire student body. In this program you will develop your legal reasoning and problem solving skills. Many programs also teach students to apply both English and Canadian law in its context. The shorter time frame means that rather than spending a third year paying for school, most students have returned home and are gaining both money and experience during that same period.
