In the midst of concern about COVID-19 and what will happen to overseas studies in Fall 2020, Barclay Educational Services has been in regular communication with our partner Universities in the UK, Northern Ireland, France and Germany. Many are now coming up with plans about how classes might safely proceed while maintaining the safety of everyone involved including students, instructors and other staff.
Some Universities, such as the University of Stirling and Bristol University have now announced October start dates, rather than the usual September start date. In addition we have just received an update from Swansea University which states:
- All courses will be delivered in a dual way to give both online and face to face teaching.
- Face to face teaching will be delivered in a blended format with no large lectures to begin with.
- We are preparing to deliver online enrolment, induction and welcome week in September and January.
- University accommodation will be available as normal with appropriate social distancing measures in place
If the UK has quarantine measures in place during your time of arrival, you will be receiving details on how your university will be able to offer support to you during this period. For students taking advantage of the FREE overseas application services offered by Canadian agent Barclay Educational Services, regular updates will also be provided by our company. Please check your email regularly and stay tuned to our blog and social media channels on FB, Twitter and Instagram.
